I've been flying my Chairbag IV for several months now with great satisfaction.rnThe light weight, instructor recommendation, and excellent price,
were the main reasons for choosing a Chairbag IV. I was not dissapointed. Hiking to one of our 'hot' sites, before the Chairbag IV, was out of the
question. The light weight, solid yet comfortable construction and knowledge that a dual airbag safety feature was present made the hike bearable
(1hr 45min over hot old pineapple fields and steep switchbacks). Set up and repacking are as simple as it gets with plenty of room for wing, dry
clothes, camelback full of water, helmet, radio, GoPro, flight suit, and flight deck without fear of ripping the zipper apart. The water proof outer
shell is a bonus during short rain squalls or excessive sweating. I only have one complaint about the Chairbag IV.rnWith my old harness I routinely
used a stirup to get into the seat after launch. I purchased a stirup with the Chairbag along with their most excellent speedbar in the paragliding
universe. The problem was that the stirup had to route through the rings that the speedbar lines also must traverse. This set up an unacceptable
friction/binding situation when trying to use the speedbar.rnI have since abandoned the stirup and just tighted up the leg straps. Problem of getting
into the seat--solved. I highly recommend the Chairbag IV to anyone who wants a sturdy, light weight, reliable, comfortable and reasonably priced

This is my first time to purchase a pure air bag harness, and also my first convertible harness. I hope it could save half the weight while no
compromise in safety and comfort. Looking forward to seat it into the sky.

Review of Apco Chairbag 3 harness. I have been flying for about 4 years in South Africa and tried many different harnesses. I am now flying with the
Apco Chairbag 3 harness and find it very comfortable in flight, easy to move around on take off, easy to get seated, don't have to let go of toggles
or grab the risers, just sit back. The harness gives very direct feedback from the wing making it easy to find and center in thermals. When
approaching landing it is easy to get out the harness in preparation for landing. No uncomfortable pinching from the leg straps when in standing
position and if you overshoot top landing just sit back into the harness to get seated again.rnAs a back pack, quick and simple to reverse into
backpack, I fit a size 28 (L) wing in the backpack easily with plenty of room for helmet, flight suit and instruments. The padded back and shoulder
straps make carrying very comfortable even on long walks. Material is strong and durable but very light weigh, saving me about 8 Kg compared to a
standard harness and backpack combination.rnI have also found the airbag protection to be very effective, on a few hard fast landings it has provided
very good protection and even after long slow approach in standing position, it retains air and protection very well. I would recommend this harness
to pilots who require a light weight option and want good feedback in flight.rnrnMatthewrnrnSouth Africa

I have flown and traveled with a "chair bag intergral", which I believe was an earlier version of this chairbag, for nearly 2 years and over
200 flights and am planning to buy this model! The harness is extremely comfortable even on longer flights. Easily adjustable even in flight The
rucsac is large enough for my glider, helmet , flights suit and Apco front mounted reserve and flight desk. Packed into a protective bag for air
travel, the kit weighs 19kg. Having travelled to and flown in India, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia with this harness, I have had 4 hard
landings. These were either downwind, to avoid an obstical or thermic dumps, so the airbag was well tested and was extremely effective in preventing
injury. Having seen other makes of chairbags in action I have chosen to get the latest version. Walter Lown Fly for Fun!
